I bought this item just to get free shipping, but have used it many times -- I can keep my phone charged even while it is being used during a long drive while using the GPS navigation feature on my phone. It was a great bargin.
I never use it ,but it is better to have one and not need it. and so on.
There may be third party chargers that do the job, but not this one. It never worked. Save your money.
Rather odd shape but it works great. It's a bit bulkier than my other car chargers.
I should have known from the cost of the charger that I should not have made the purchase. It worked for a few days and now it doesn't work AT ALL.Do not waste your time on this charger. Invest a little more in something that will work long term.
